VINEYARDS
Exceptional vineyards distinguish Green Valley, including such gems as Dutton’s Jewell Vineyard, Iron Horse’s Thomas Road, Dutton-Rued Vineyard, Martinelli’s Bondi Home Ranch, Dutton-Sanchietti, Hartford Court’s Arrendell Vineyard, Marimar Estates’ Don Miguel Vineyard, DeLoach Vineyards, Emeritus Vineyards and Orogeny.
There are over 100 growers in the appellation. The AVA comprises a total of 19,000 acres, mostly planted to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for both still and sparkling wines, plus some exceptional cool-climate Syrah and Zinfandel.
